In the 1960’s, teenagers were going through turmoil and stress protesting the Vietnam War and marching for Civil Rights. This graphic eye look is inspired by the '60s, so it’s no surprise that this trend is making waves right now. Practice this look to remind yourself that others have been in your shoes, and have won their battles, as you will yours. We love using a colorful, sparkly liner to give that lid an extra pop. Bonus points if you can draw on some fake under-eye lashes.

A chunky glitter is a great way to shake up the classic template for a stunning makeup look: the cut crease. We love this one because it’s great for covering mistakes. After all, we all make them. Missed deadlines, typos, sleeping in late... Have patience, and don’t beat yourself up. Cover your oopsies with some glitter, apologize if you've hurt yourself or others, and show yourself a lot of extra love on days you can’t seem to get things right.

Inner Corner Contour

You bring color where it’s never been before, making your spaces bolder and better, and just because your choices are unconventional doesn’t mean they’re wrong. (Usually, it's the opposite!) If you’re feeling self-conscious, try putting some color in some new places, going with a more neutral color to start. The inner corner color pop has been a trend since the beginning of the year, but it is slowly feathering outwards down the nose and brow bones. This creative look will help you remember that unconventional is awesome, and you’re full of abounding creative energy.

Glitter Lip

Sticks and stones may hurt your bones, but a glitter lip will fix everything. It’s easy to be nasty and critical of yourself, but words matter, even when they’re echoing in your head. When you pop on a glitter lip, make a pact to only speak pleasant, kind, and lovely words to yourself. From personal experience, this can make a huge difference. Wear your glitter lip with pride and speak into existence equally glittering things. See how you feel at the end of the day.

Mask Matching

Sometimes, when situations feel out of control, it can result in some pretty serious anxiety. Whether you’re stuck in a classroom freaked out about getting sick, or living in a negative home environment, you have the power to make positive choices in your life that can help you feel back in control. One choice we’re loving is matching makeup to your mask. Yes, masks are now a requirement, but they can also be a key accessory, and a killer look will spike that confidence. And for the rebels, go with contrasting colors or color-blocking to defy the rules and pull all eyes to you.
