Inspired by the celestial shades of the universe and the beauty of the night sky, our Otherworldy Pride Collection is all about celebrating our uniqueness. Hippy Potter's iconic design graces our Pride tees with the message "You Are Out of This World," reminding us that we each have a unique constellation that sparkles in this galaxy or the next.
"However you choose to celebrate Pride this year, it's important to remember what Pride is really about—community, advocacy, and celebrating our trans ancestors who launched the movement," says Dev Doee, chief creative of We Are Fluide, who led the product development and campaign creative.
The Otherworldly Pride collection includes our first-ever 8-pan palette, a limited edition Pride t-shirtdesigned by Hippy Potter, a set of 15 face gems in complementary colors, and our Universal Gloss in Jupiter.
We are honored to donate 10% of our Pride collection sales to For Our Sibs, a Black trans-led collective that provides mutual aid to Black Trans, Non-Binary, Gender Non-Conforming, 2S, and Intersex folks through the work of community care and the arts based in Atlanta, GA.
Led by Maliyah Worthy and Cienna Minniefield, For Our Sibs shares that “we're excited to partner with We Are Fluide, a brand that shares our goals of centering Black trans people, and we look forward to what this collaboration means for our community and for amplifying our message and increasing the support we can offer.”
With stunning looks created bymakeup artist Tony Tulve, and Alex Webster's gorgeous photography, our models embody the celebratory mood of Pride and sparkle like stars in the night sky.
After a long, hard year, coming together for our Pride shoot felt otherworldly in and of itself.
As photographer Alex Webster reminds, us, "while making good images is a crucial goal, it is second only to making lasting memories and deepening our connections to the people with whom we collaborate."
A true artist, Alex "[sees] my work as a mandate—a demand for agency over our stories and ownership of our visages. I wish to see my community joyful, empowered, and thriving, the authors of our own archives through photography, storytelling, and oral histories. This creed is my northern star."
The radiant models include Dev Doee, Ashley Fletcher, Clara Lu, Eva Reign, maya finoh and Noah Foster.
In Dev's words, "putting myself out there and having a platform to share my vision, and shine my light on others has been my guiding star."
